Dashboards, metrics, and leaderboards

Read class performance, configure output metrics, and build useful comparisons.

Instructor dashboard

The active classroom dashboard summarizes the current challenge, decision completion, action items, configured KPI metrics, class performance, results, and leaderboard categories.

Configure a metric

In classroom settings, open Metric definitions and add or edit a definition. Specify:

  • Label, description, data type, and format
  • Aggregation across challenges
  • AI calculation rule
  • Initial value and order
  • Table, KPI, chart, detail, and leaderboard visibility
  • Highest-first or lowest-first leaderboard direction
  • Whether the metric is the primary ranking metric

Only active numeric metrics can be used for a leaderboard.

Multiple leaderboards

A classroom may display several cumulative categories. The primary metric drives single-rank surfaces; other enabled metrics give the class different ways to compare strategies.

Interpret with care

Use student drill-down and result explanations before drawing conclusions from one KPI. A strong value can carry a cost elsewhere, and that tradeoff is often the lesson.
